Win a track day for just £2.99
Been wanting to get on track but put off by the cost? ApexGuide lets you race for a place on a real track day. Practise for free on our Assetto Corsa servers, then qualify from £2.99.
Why we're doing this
Track days aren't cheap. Most cost £150 to £200 before you've put any fuel in the car, and that puts a lot of people off ever trying one.
ApexGuide started as a way to learn a circuit before you drive it. A lot of people who know these tracks inside out on a sim have never driven one for real, often because of the cost. We wanted to give them a way in.
So every month there's a real track day up for grabs, and the only way to win it is on the sim. There's one circuit and one car, the same for everyone. Practice is free and entries start at £2.99. Nobody can enter more than four times a month, so you can't buy your way to the front.
The best drivers from the qualifiers race in the monthly final, and whoever wins it gets a track day at one of OpenTrack's UK circuits. It's decided on race results alone. The first month is November.
The deal
Practice is free. Entries are £2.99 for one qualifying race or £7.99 for four, up to four a month. Make the final and race for a real track day with OpenTrack.

Questions
What do I need to take part?
A PC with Assetto Corsa from Steam, plus the free Content Manager launcher and Custom Shaders Patch. A wheel helps, but a controller works.
How do I sign up?
Register your interest on this page with a free ApexGuide account. Once you've confirmed your email, you get the link to our Discord, where we post the dates and open entries for the first month in November.
How does an entry work?
One entry gets you into one qualifying race. Buy 1 for £2.99 or 4 for £7.99, up to 4 a month.
Do more entries help?
They give you more tries at qualifying. Once you're in the final, everyone races the same race and it costs nothing extra.
Is practice free?
Yes. The servers are free to drive on whenever they're on. You only pay to enter a qualifying race.
How do I make the final?
The best finishers from the qualifying races go through. We'll confirm how many places there are before entries open in November.
What do I win?
A real track day with OpenTrack, at one of their UK circuits. ApexGuide isn't affiliated with OpenTrack.
Who can win?
Drivers who live in the UK, are 18 or over and hold a full UK driving licence. The prize goes on race results only.
Which cars can I drive?
Each month's qualifiers and final use one car, announced with the circuit. For practice there are two classes. Track Day is cars you might bring to a real track day: Toyota GT86, Mazda MX-5 (NA, ND and Cup), BMW M235i Racing, BMW 1M, BMW M3 E30 and E92, Nissan 370Z, Alfa Romeo 4C, Lotus Exige S and Porsche 718 Cayman S. Performance has more power and less grip to spare: BMW M4, Alfa Romeo Giulia QV, Ford Mustang 2015, Toyota Supra Mk4, Nissan Skyline R34, Porsche Cayman GT4, Porsche 911 GT3 RS, 911 R and 911 Turbo S, Audi R8 Plus, Nissan GT-R and Chevrolet Corvette C7.
Which circuits are on the servers?
Anglesey, Brands Hatch, Cadwell Park, Donington Park, Mallory Park and Oulton Park in the UK, plus Spa-Francorchamps, Monza, Laguna Seca and the Nordschleife. All of them except Monza have a free ApexGuide track guide and simulator lap.
How do I join the servers?
Open Content Manager, go to Online and search for ApexGuide. When a server is live it also shows on this page, with a button that opens it straight in Content Manager.
What if I'm missing a car or track?
Content Manager tells you what's missing before you join and shows where to get it. The original Kunos cars and tracks need no download.
See you on the servers
Practice is free and entries start at £2.99. All you need is Assetto Corsa and Content Manager.
